Personal Injury at Home I'm renting?

Threaten to sue!

You can go to companies like:
- National Accident Helpline
- First Personal Injury
- InjuryLawyers4U

It's very easy, and costs nothing - all you do is give them a call (google them to get their number) and they will settle everything for you - my friend has used this service for broken bones in an accident, it's a good service, and it's free.

Just write a letter to your landlord, or phone him/her, and say you plan on taking legal action against them. (either use the word Ombudsman or Injury Lawyer, they will get the point that you are serious) and you'll get compensation and your landlord will be forced to do something about it.

They will not lose any money or kick you out; it is not your fault so they cannot take any action against you. Give it a try - you deserve help on this.

the law is simple; she is dragging. Thus, you can now call 3 contractors. Hire one.
let them know what needs to be done. When it is to your satisfaction, pay their
bill, make a copy of the paid invoice and when you pay the next mo rent
deduct that amount.

welcome to lazy LL's world

If you have it in writing, you can probably sue - if you want.

Personally, I'd have removed the carpeting myself from a safety point of view - especially after my daughter had tripped.
