Please, shed some light on today's Musical Evolution...?

Why do people moan like whiny little b*tches when bands like Linkin Park, Korn and Marilyn Manson change there genre dramatically but hate bands like Nickelback for sticking to a sound that works for them? People these days are just huge f*king Hippocrates when it comes to music. And I do realise that I'm gonna get more than one comment saying some sh*t like "dude, Nickelback are sh*t and so are you for liking them" or "Marilyn Manson is a scarey satanist and you'll go to hell for listening to him" (by the way, Marilyn Manson is not a satanist, at least do your research before you wrongly slander them)

Ok first off, people hate when bands like Manson and Korn water down their sound for a mainstream audience. They hate Nickelback because they have always been watered down corporate rock. I dont see the hypocracy.
