Political science major?

Im a junior in high school and I plan on majoring in political science and I really would appreciate if someone could help me answer these questions.
1. Can you choose to choose to focus on two sub fields-like American Gov't and International relations?
2. Can you recommend some books which would help understand the subject?
3.What minors (if any) should I take along with it?
btw I'm hoping to go to law school after I get my undergraduate degree
