Postby oakley » Thu Apr 19, 2012 3:01 am

My wife who belongs to a lower middle class is threatening me divorce b'coz she knows she will have Half of my property which will be sufficient for her to lead a comfortable life...What should I do? I am very upset please help...She is totally a shame less creature and only after my money and property....My daughter is also with her who is only 8 yrs old....She wants to leave me because she does'nt want to behave like an Indian Wife..She would not like to take responsibilities of house hold chores and her husband...She always treats me like a Dog....She always abuses me on slightest pretext...But , to the general people outside she has spread , just the opposite impression...She exhibits as if I am very bad person..She is very good at Lying and deceiving. She advertises falsely that I mis behave with her...That I am Bad and many many things...Thinking that a lady is complaining people often believe her statements and take me in bad part...Now she is going to move divorce with sole aim to bring bad name to my reputation and to gain half of my property....WHAT SHOULD I DO.?? It will severly ruin my reputation..

It is not your property. The property belongs to both of you and she just gets her share. That is probably why she is divorcing you, because you think she is not entitled to anything. Why should she love someone that thinks she is no more than a housekeeper, a caretaker for the children, and a object for sex? She is 1/2 partner in your relationship whether you want to admit it or not.
Women are tired of being treated like they are owned instead of respected for their contributions to the marriage, loved, and appreciated.

you are right my friend but it will really be a "Crushing Defeat for men "

**Have a look at this **** -

""The objections raised by men’s rights organizations have been conveniently ignored by the standing committee panel, that has gone ahead and recommended the very clauses to the Govt. of India for the bill to be tabled, to which the men’s rights organizations has raised objections against.''''

* What would happen if -

1)Husband purchases a property just 6 months after marriage out of his hard-earned savings earned before marriage and his marriage breaks and he loses half of the property. In that case the husband will be doomed.
2)Men start fearing this law and stop buying real estate which adversely affects the economy of the country.
3)Husband has dependent parents and owns a single property and if 50% of that goes to wife post-divorce, how will the husband take care of his old parents? Is the concept of family restricted to only husband-wife in the Indian context?
4)What, if the family is a Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) owning a single joint property? Will the wife get 50% of that? What about other sibling’s share in it?

and there are so many questions like this waiting to be answered ....

*** What would I recommend -
1). The difference between a 2 month marriage and a 20 year marriage must be clearly understood.
2) Marriages and Divorces should not be made a property-transfer-bureau.
3)If property division is to be done then wife’s share in her ancestral property must also be considered and then division must be done.
4)Any and all outstanding financial liabilities on the property like loan for property, loan against property, mortgage etc. must also be equally divided and wife must be made to be equally paid for it.

and I Strongly condemn the upcoming Marriage Laws (amendment) Bill and all men should, for the Bill ain't give equal rights to men and women but it will only kick men's asssss

At last, I know it ain't the answer but I pray for the victory of mens rights organisation. All men must pray.................... goooooooood luck

In excuse of being mis treated and not given equal rights women are gaining sympathy of our law makers and there are indeed such genuine cases where women are Misusing the law and taking even caring husbands for a Ride.

Its really unfortunate that now a days marriage has been made a "Property Transfer Bureau".

Now a days its a fashion among ladies to gain sympathy by falsely implicating men.

It appears there is nothing possible to be done law fully.

Its a really created an imbalance in Society.
Consult a good advocate for a better solution...

Politicians are passing such laws for gaining women vote's ..It's all Vote bank politics...

Those times are gone when women were hapless and help less...

Now its women who are calling the shots...

I agree that Now onwards in many typical cases marriage will become "Property Transfer Bureau" and nothing more.

Like in the United.States. Indian Law makers should also allow Husbands the right to execute an agreement before marriage where in, the would be wife agrees that, in case of Divorce the divorced wife would have no right over her Husband's Property...Yes this is the law which is practicsed in U.S.A..because women made marriage a Business.

Other wise such one sided laws are slowly but surely going to have Serious Repurcussions..

Last year, there was an amendment to the Hindu marriage act stating that wife’s share in property would be 50% in all her husband’s residential properties in case of divorce.

This amendment violates the basic rights of all men to live in his own hard earned property. If it is a women right to share her body and mind with a person whom she likes, it is a man’s right to share his hard earned property with a person whom he likes. For the purpose of divorce, he cannot sell his property and stand on roads and slog for the rest of life with the balance money. This law has to be challenged for its validity in supreme court of India as this is stealing of a person’s assets legally in the name of justice to women.

Why should a husband share his property with a wife who is not interested to share her life with him. If a wife doesn’t want her husband, then why does she need his property alone. Men welfare organizations have to get a stay in the court for its implementation.

When a man is expected to work and earn for his living, why is it not applied for a women when they claim equality in all ways. Why should her husband pay for her expenses and especially when she is not interested to be with him. Will she die if she separates from her husband. Won't she get a job to meet her needs.

This is anti-male law which is passed by incompetent lawmakers without much thought. When a law is passed, it should consider both the sides and it should be neutral to both the parties. If it is one-sided, then it shows the incompetence of the person who drafted the law and the lawmaker has to punished for incompetence.

Just to own a Rs.40 lakhs flat, men become indebted for life by taking a loan and work as slaves in private companies day and night sacrificing many things and spending sleepless nights. When men puts so much efforts for years to acquire an asset, these people just come and walk away with hard earned property very easily. They don’t want to work hard but rather sit and enjoy on somebody else hard earned money.

This law is basically framed to harass men and to make men as slaves of women. Apart from being a slave in the company, women want to make men as a slave at home also.

Already so many laws were passed against men and they still being misused by women. These law makers are crossing their limit and if men keep quiet generously, they misuse it and start passing as many laws as they can according to their own will and wish. Unless men stand united and fight against these incompetent law makers, feminist evils and women activist, this will continue forever. We have reverse each and every law that has been passed till date which are against men.

This law itself is a clear-cut evidence of injustice done to men. This law has to be either withdrawn or amended so that both have equal rights, equal responsibilities and equal punishments for mistakes thereby ensuring that justice to men is not denied in the name of doing justice to women.

i think this law was passed for supporting the rights of the woman because in now a days the number of divorced woman are rising and they also have child. So i think for that purpose they are entitle for the half of their husband property if they divorced.
