Are ever road in NYS have yellow lines painted on them to divide up the traffic? unless it is a one way street. If the town failed to paint lines on the road, could they be sued if some get into an accident.....because they failed to put yellow lines on the road? I heard that somewhere , i wasnt sure if that was true or not.

You can sue anybody over anything. The judge decides if its valid.
