Ron Paul was asked how he will monitor & make sure money from cuts are used properly when Federal policing is?

Ron Paul says as president he wants to empower the states to police themselves and decide how best to use the money to help the people.
The last interviewer asked how will you keep track, monitor, audit the activities of the states and make sure its being used fairly and for the purpose intended,
knowing what this world is and the corruption we have now? if the states denied life, liberty, protection from the unborn, races or classes of people would it call for action at the national govnt level?
To which Ron asked "...you want to empower the central govt more? you are asking for more federal police? he went on to say the states could handle it as they were meant to without having to wait for changes in constitution, but just with a presidential signature on a majority vote. Should the states have the sole power to govern themselves without big brother watching them? How difficult would it be for americans to get national govt's attention to correct an injustice by the state?

Well big brother has not been very good of watching itself. Look at the self serving voter records of big brother in the past. What law have they passed that helped the little guy in the past 10 years? I guess it will take about the same amount of time to get national govt's attention for state injustice as it has taken to get their attention for the national injustices.

Considering that the USA is a republic and that is how a republic works, I say Ron Paul is right on the mark! People are not stupid we will know how are money is being spent at a state level because we will immediately see results, where as when the Federal government takes our money for security and uses it for operations like project gun runner and fast and furious. Maybe the Mexican drug cartels would lose some strength if we allowed our states to protect themselves with out federal interference. History shows that corruption occurs when more money and power is concentrated into one entity to rule a majority. States however are small enough for the people to keep track and stay on top when it gets to the level of one power over 50 states we lose track and eventually lose faith.
