Should i join the military because of this martial law?

Postby claudius » Thu Dec 22, 2011 11:49 am

hi i was wondering should i join or start a militia because theirs no denying there has to be a fight because i clearly see whats going on, yea their not taking our guns away but you can be taken and imprisoned without trial and this is just a another step to a full out martial law where they take away everything. but will soldiers obey

dont say we wont win because a us soldiers job is to defend our country and fight for our freedom and that means even if its domestic, even if its our own government taking our freedom away and shitting on our constitution. and as far as fighting the army or whoever their not going to use ariel attacks just ground so its basicly like a headbutt yea your going to do alot of damage to your enemy but your still going to hurt just as much same thing if you have a fly on your face and you smack it.

and as far as us army goes the mexican drug cartels are said to be on the same level as the army so not to worry. and alot of people dont know how many militia groups their are post around the united states its said to be close to 600,000 yea i was supprised until i talked to a milita leader who had 1200 members in virginia and thats in one part of virginia

Joining the military is not going to change anything in American life. If you want to do that do some volunteer work.

Great idea.

But before you do...you might want to see these militia guys in action - as I have. They have no concept of what's needed for a military unit to function. They are all "individualists" i.e. they can't understand a chain of command.

The basic concepts of military logistics have eluded them since the movement began...a word, guys...You have to use the same weapons...that way ammo can be shared...oh, wait you're all rugged individualists...so you wouldn't share with your squad mates anyway. Go on then. Bob - you take a shotgun. Jerry - use the AK. And Chuck will have the M16. Shouldn't be a problem...in war you get unlimted ammo like in video games, right?

Also, 90% of them are old and/or waaaaaay out of shape. They'd last a good 2 minutes in a firefight. In the "olden days" these folks were called "cannon fodder" on the battlefield.

But still....give me a call when you guys get some tanks. (It's gonna take a lot of beer cans though.)

Yes. But you will need expert assistance to start your militia.

I know an ATF agent who would be happy to meet with you to discuss it.

Join Because you want to be military, not because you think martial law is coming. Also you are nuts if the think a drug (gang) is equal to the US Army.

What are you, like 12? Chill out kiddo. There will be no martial law. The government isn't going to come take away you guns (unless you prove to be a threat to yourself or others) and they cannot lock you up indefinitely without access to your protected rights.

Militias are not the answer to America's problems. And the military has sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. That means rising up against the government is seen as being a domestic enemy. Too many people spout off about the Constitution, but most have no clue what it truly means or what it actually says. Stop with the paranoia and go get yourself a life.

Mexican drug cartel on the same level as the US Army. Kid you are a trip. lol

First point, the militia is men between 16 and 50 that have their own guns. That was the definition back when the Constitution was written and as far as I know, it has never been changed.

Second point, do you really want to be identified with a militia since the government keeps an eye on them, such as the Freemen up in Montana. By doing your own thing, quietly and without blabbing your intentions or thoughts, they will usually not have a reason to be looking at you.

Third point, we have been losing our rights slowly over the past 100 years. And what is really, REALLY funny is people want income tax reform but the government does not. LOOK at all the information you give them just so you can keep more of YOUR money in YOUR pocket. Your home, how much mortgage you have on it, medical issues, what college your kid is going to, if you have a second home and where is it. What you do for a living and how much do you get paid. Where you work. What church or other religious organization you go to and what other charities you give to. Take a look at that tax form and LOOK at all the information that you would not give to other people, but because you want YOUR money, you tell the government about everything there is to know about you. Along with that, they pass more and more laws to the point that it is impossible to break something or other. And they no longer require you to have INTENT to do wrong, if you drain that little swamp in the back of your farm because your cows keep going in, getting stuck and dying, they still fine you for a violation of the migratory bird act. If you build a fence around it, they nail you for not getting a building permit first. If they want to arrest you they have so many laws on the books they will find something to charge you.

Last point. With the passing of this law, they now show their true colors. The Constitution is not seen as a guiding document for them, it is seen as something that gets in their way from having complete control over us. About the only chance we have of fixing all this is to elect Ron Paul and others who actually can quote the Constitution. Mark my words, if Obama gets another four years, he will appoint the most flaming liberal judges he can, and their interpretation of the law will be that the federal government can do whatever it wants, whenever it wants to whoever it wants. And you can also bet, it will be the Democrats that will propose amending the Constitution to get rid of term limits for the President.....Just like they did in Russia .....

You CAN, but it's a bad idea. If you do most jobs these days you'll be getting a security clearance, and it just MIGHT come up that you want to join solely to give you experience when you start an anti-government militia upon leaving the military.

If you want to be in a militia, that's fine. Just keep in mind the government knows exactly who they are, and what their strength is. Also, I've interviewed some of them for a thesis in college.

And let me tell you. A single battalion of National Guardsmen could clean out every militia east of the Mississipi river within a month. None of them have standardized armament, their physical fitness tends to be laughable, they haven't planted supply caches or set up safe houses, and their tactics will ensure that all of them are killed in the first engagement; they've got pretty much nothing but semiauto ARs and AKs. Some of them even have SKSs. They're equipping and "training" like they intend to go toe-to-toe with armed military units.

If you join or start a militia, concentrate on physical fitness, small-unit tactics, rural and urban ambush tactics, sniping, and booby-traps. Cuz if you're trying to kill me with an AR, I'll get up after it sticks in my vest and call in an air strike that will smear you all over the grass.

were not under martial law and its most likely not going to happen, at least not during your lifetime. the last time the US declared martial law was 1941. and you're a bit late on this, the patriot act has been around for almost a decade. been living under a rock or did you just finally get the internet/television/a news paper?

actually its the military's job to defend the US against its enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC.
you think the US wouldnt use air assets if it went to war with a militia? yeah you dont know anything about how we work. if for some reason the US did go to war with a bunch of militias you can bet your *** the first thing they would do would be to bomb every single militia compound and gathering site.
even if we didnt, theres still this little thing called armored vehicles. a hunting rifle cant penetrate a tank or even an up-armored humvee.

no mexican drug cartels arent on the same level. same level as the MEXICAN army probably, but not the US army. they're not trained the same, they're not equiped the same, they dont have the same type of assets.
the US didnt lose to vietcong. look at every single battle and check out the amount of VC dead vs the amount of US dead. the US left vietnam after the north signed a cease fire. they wiated for us to leave then they attacked the south again and took it over easily.
al qaeda is a close level enemy? really? last i checked iraq just ended on our terms and al qaeda as well as the taliban are having to replace their leader and their ranks almost monthly.

as much as militias like to run around the woods and play soldiers, they're amateurs. going against the US military would have a worse result than a peewee football team of elementary school kids trying to take on a NFL team.
