Should I report him to the police, he has really got me scared?

Well, there is this kid that keeps stalking me, specifically when I am outside in the yard, and he will ride his bicycle up and down the street several times, and when he sees me within looking distance, he rides very slow, in some instances, he will tell me how good I look and If I need anything let him know .Obviously, I know it’s because he likes me but it’s starting to scare me. He is starting to do it daily now, and he told my friend that lives on his block on the next street that he is in love with me, and needs me. I don’t even talk to him, plus I haven’t said more than 3 words to him the entire time he has passed by my house, maybe “hi,” or when he asks me how I am doing said “good” Yesterday he really creeped me out, when I was going to leave for work, I saw a necklace on the side mirror of my car with a note that stated “I love you, and you will be mine very soon, you just won’t know it, not yet anyway.” My first reaction was I was kind of shocked, but didn’t right away consider that he would trespass on my property and come in my yard. Today, I have the day off of work, and earlier I heard the phone ring, and I knew it was him because I could recognize his voice, and he just said “I hope you like the necklace, I love you and I will have you one way or another.” I responded and told him I was going to call the police, if he didn’t stop, but he had hung up already. According, to my friend she said she has talked to him before and says he seems like he has some serious mental issues, and always talks about my looks and body. Since he is a kid, he seems to be 13, 14 or 15; in the age range of a very young teenage boy anyway, can the police really do anything? What should I do?

Report this to the police. This is going beyond innocent crush.

The language of that note is concerning. When the police read the note, they will take this seriously.

Please contact the police. After they talk to the kid, he might back off. If he doesn't, the police will be prepared to deal with it.

You could report him but because of his age it's very doubtful anything will come of it. Maybe ask a trusted friend, neighbour etc to talk to him next time he comes around. He needs to learn some boundaries.

I wouldn't go to the police but you should get a friend with you and confront him and ask him to stop and if it doesn't work tell his parents.

It won't matter what you do, call the police yes, report him yes, but they get out and it start all over. People have been murdered by stalkers so be on guard. Why don't you get a rifle,gun or security system like ADT in your home. Next a guard dog, and lastly maybe someone to live there. Getting someone to live there is hard, so try to do the best. I have problems like this too.

@ Carla, listen you dumb *****, he clearly said he is going to have her one way or another, and she don't, or she won't even know him. Plus, what if her property is private, and he trespassed by putting a necklace and love night upon her car. You are the moron that clearly cannot differentiate between stalking and just a small crush.
