Should I study abroad?

Postby han » Tue Jul 10, 2012 11:01 pm

I am considering studying criminal or corporate defense law abroad- in France. I plan on having my own law firm. I will be taking four years of French within the next two years. But my parents are telling me to go to college here first because my business might be "worth more" in France if I have an American education. I am expected from my parents to attend SMU (Southern Methodist University) or Stanford. The only prestige colleges I can find in France are located in Paris. I'm educated enough to know that as a college student I will go completely bankrupt there. I'm attracted to Bordeaux! And that's another problem- expenses. CAN I earn a scholarship in a French school? What is the estimate to studying out of the country?
