Anywhere near Greenville North Carolina would suffice. I'd also like any information regarding financial assistance, if it exists.

LouLou said: 2 Narcotics Anonymous would be a good source. Also Nar-a-Non which is a group for family and friends of the person involved with drugs. It should also be a state certified Rehab with a good success rate of its clients. The most important is the willingness of your friend to get help. Someone Very Dear To Me Is Suffering From Drug Addiction, So I Need To Find Some Very Good Facilities In Nc.

I facilitate a group for veterans with drug problems and refer a lot of them to Daytop.  Daytop Village takes people from all over the country and is one of the top therapeutic communities in our fine country. They have several facilities and only do long term inpatient treatment. They treat the root of the clients problem and adjust their behaviors to decrease the chances of relapse. They have been around for over 50 years so they are doing something correct. I have had a great deal of success with the men I have sent there.

They should contact a medical school Dept. of Psychiatry(like UNC or Duke) for information and a recommendation.
