Speed camera ticket southern California ?

Postby calvert » Fri Jun 15, 2012 4:16 pm

When I was 17 years old I got a ticket for speeding then 6 months later I got a ticket for a red light camera violation. Then I got a ticket for loud music at age 18 then age 19 I got a ticket for loud music. Now age 20 I turned right on a red light camera the lane to go straight the light was green to make a right the sign was yellow when I entered then turned I'm not sure if I got flashed. I got a letter when I got the first 2 tickets from DMV warning too many tickets. I'm not sure if my license will be suspended because this ticket if I get. Any help? How many points I have?

When you were 17 and driving on a provisional license, the DMV could take action if you had TWO points in one year, which you did. Once you are fully licensed it takes FOUR points in one year (although any points can affect your insurance). Citations for excessive noise do not add points, and points stay on your record for only three years. So, if you are convicted of this offense, it looks like your license is safe--if not your wallet.

If you do get something in the mail, you will want to consider the information here:
