, i would just like to ask some visa enquiry?? My husband just got his irish passport. And were both living here in the philippines together, my husband had a visit to his dad in longford ireland when he was 16yrs old. His father has an established business in ireland has his own house and all. So when my father in law visited the philippines a couple of months ago he told me and my husband if we can go to ireland to join him, because they feel
Lonely and theyre getting old and need some help to their business as well. And he also said that he will be providing all the documents that i need for my visa... He said we can stay in his house for a year , all expenses paid since they are just two people in the house, or if we can get a job it would be okay too.. then we can decide if we want to build our family there and be a resident In ireland after that one year.. So we were just wonderin what type of visa will i apply? Coz i will be needing a longer stay and not a short stay visa? Since my husband cannot provide the documents Yet for a spousal visa , what documents do we need from my father in law as a sponsor for my stay? And theyre asking for a bank statement also but we dont have enough money on the bank here in the philippines, so is it okay if its my father in law's bank statement that we show them? We've emailed the garda office in ireland and they' said that my husband needs to apply for a type(D) visa for me to be able to get a GNIB card.. And we got more confuse?! Because why do my husband needs a visa to enter ireland? He has an irish passport.. I dunno if its just a typo or something.. Hmmm... Pls help! Needs advice and anyone who encounter this problem. Its a buy tricky! Tnx!
