Surveillance drones? Isn't that considered invasion of privacy if they happen to be over private property?

Postby tim » Tue Mar 06, 2012 5:40 am

I live in a nice place out in a wooded area and every night for the past 2 years there have been a couple of drones flying around my home and staying there for several hours. Doesn't this sort of violate the right to privacy, and what about the fourth amendment of the Constitution? Don't the use of drones over private property violate the fourth Amendment to the Constitution? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting a little concerned about this administration.

Not the administration but the supreme court (most of whom who are not supporters of the current administration) has decided recently that an over flight is not an invasion of privacy.
Only if certain types of equipment is used, like infrared viewers, that can kind of "see" inside a building is it considered an 4th amendment vioaltion.

I can't believe you've let it go on for 2 years. I would have shot it down the second night.

Its not a violation of your "rights" because you have no rights. You might still believe that you do, but in reality you have zero.

This has been proven over and over again by the governments actions, their continuous, constant trampling of these supposed rights over the last 100 years or so.

Obviously they do not believe you have any rights, otherwise their actions would be completely opposite.
