The New Immigration Z Visa

Postby shipley » Sun Apr 10, 2011 12:35 am

I am in Maryland and I too at times feel like the foreigner. I think this law stinks. I do not think that any of the people here illegally are going to go back to their country no matter what. I also think that it is time that we stop giving criminals all the rights. What about the rights of the billions of American's who work hard every day to put food on the talble and a roof over the heads of their families. The united states can not absorb the immigrants into our economy. There is tons of people on public assistance in one way or another. The government is complaining about not having money for social security and to build new schools. where is the money to pay for all the illegals that are here getting free schooling for their children and free health care for their children. My kid doesn't get anything free. I have to pay out of my pocket for medical. I think that the law should be followed and these people here illegally should be sent back. The immigration department should do their job. They know where these illegals are but they do nothing about it.

The New Immigration Z Visa

I try to research and listen to news reports about things like this. Since I live in an area of Texas where 68% is considered minority (?) it's a regular topic of discussion around here. I can see both sides of the story. Naturally I agree with the side of right and legal, but even that is becoming a blurred issue. I wonder if it's just too late to do anything about the issue? I wonder if the attempts to fix the problem are good enough? I wonder if it will prevent people from slipping in under the detecting eyes of boarder patrol? I wonder so many things. I honestly believe whatever they do at this point will only be a bandaide over the deep rooted problem. It's been allowed to exist for way too long in too many different areas. The problem has been going on since 'forever'. Jumping in now to try to fix one problem is going to cause problems in areas people haven't even begin to consider. It truly concerns me but I just don't know what the outcome will be. We'll have to sit back and watch and hope for the best I guess. Vote when and where appropriate and vote for the people who say they have the answers. Who knows? It's a conundrum!

The New Immigration Z Visa

The thing is that as long as there is no punishment for these illegal immigrants to come and go as they please it will continue to happen. As long as the polititions sit on their hands and allow illegal immigrants to dictate policy to them this will never change. As long as there are thousands of illegals marching in the open in protest of being treated badly this problem will exist. Why do we have laws if we do not intend to inforce them?

I do not agree with this law. More and more foreigners, immigrants, ect are coming to our country and taking away all our freedom and the politicians are letting it happen. Also I do not believe enough Christians are standing up against these things.

Funny you should mention Christians mjsdls. As you know I consider myself a Christian as I know you are too. I heard an intersting thing the other day about certain groups who are filing suit trying to have Bible class taken out of certain schools. While 168 registered pastors were notified about the suit and requested to appear, not one pastor thought it necessary to defend the Bible class. The suit against the Bible class was won by the group and the class is no longer affordable, even though it was an elective. You are right! Christians are becoming apathetic and complaicent. If we don't start to stand firm in what we believe in, we will loose more than Bible classes.
