Theft In Pennsylvania

Postby Deorward » Sat Jun 14, 2014 5:10 am

Our cousin was caught shoplifting in Kohls, in Pa. The total amount was 0.00...until this her report was clear. She's really concerned and embarrassed of what she's completed. Can anybody tell me may she need to do jail-time? I'm confident she'll have penalties, probabtion but she's truly concerned about jail-time.
This can be a Misdemeaner 2 in Pennsylvania, because it has ended 0.00. She's also thinking if she must get a lawyer or make use of a Public Defender.
Cheers for almost any info.

Shoplifting In Pennsylvania

Having a clear report, it'd appear extremely improbable that she will be asked to spend some time in prison. So far as a public defense, that'll rely on her finances. If sheis in a position to manage a lawyer, she'll probably need to employ one. Or even, she'll discover representation.

Shoplifting In Pennsylvania

I really hope that the right. So far as the lawyer...at this time she'll do something to assist her situation...if that means investing in an attorney she'll do this. I believe a PD may help her aswell but she appears to as an attorney can help more. She does not wish to invest the cash but she doesn't wish to visit prison and that I imagine she's considering an attorney might help more.
