I realized over the last four years of high school (I'm a Senior), that I have a pretty strong sense of justice, I'm outspoken, and get along well with others. My leadership qualities need a bit of work though. I absolutely hate things like drug abuse, abuse in general, hearing about someone getting killed, things like that. When I hear stuff like that, I really want them caught. I think it would make me feel pretty good if I caught a few "bad guys" in my life. I don't know what I really want to do, but I do know that I wanna make a change in the world, and that I do not wanna be couped up all day long; I wanna be out there doing something during the day and night.
My grades are pretty average, (A's,B's, and C's), but I would definitely need to work on my physical health. I'm 5'4'' and weigh close to 140, not overweight, but I'm not big on exercising. I'd like to check out the K-9 unit, since I wanna work with animals as well. My choice isn't set in stone, but as of now, I'd definitely go into college undecided, but interested in Criminal Justice, English, or Psychology.
I watch a ton of police shows like COPS and the Police Woman of What have you, and Las Vegas Jailhouse. I know that the life of a police officer wouldn't be an easy one, but it has its own rewards too.
Any advice (particularly from past or current officers of the law), would be fantastic. Thanks a bunch!
