Trying to evict roommate for stealing landlord apparently cannot??

So starting in april i moved into a house with two roommates, one (Lex) who I've lived with for 2 years already, shes like my sister, and one of our friends(not anymore) (Ash)and teammates, we all play college lacrosse, anyways, turns out shes been stealing from me, clothes, shoes, UNDERWEAR, BRAS, tons of my stuff and possibly even money but that I cannot prove.

She lied when i first asked her if she had seen 2 certain items that I happened to see in her laundry basket when I was looking for her, she knew what things i was talking about, a shirt, i showed her a pic of and a dress which she knew well enough to finish describing it and knew that i had recently bought it. I KNEW she had these but she denied having seen them, i asked her if she wanted me to wash some stuff w mine a coupld days later and she pushed those to the bottom so they could not be seen (i hoped she would give them back and give me a lame excuse and it would be over) a few days later it ewas apparent that she was not going to give them back so when she left for babysitting i had about 15 minutes before work so i went to go get them, however i could not find them, instead i found: 2 skirts, 2 bras, 3 pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 nice dresses(one is one of my FAVORITES), and a bathingsuit! ALL MINE! and thats just what i could find in 15 minutes, there are MANY more things i KNOW she has that i have been unable to find!

I confronted her about this she lied and said they were all hers (I never specified what I found) she claimed that her sister and mother gave them to her and she bought some herself! NOTE: I shop at places like marshalls, tjmax, and ross.... places where you dont generally find two of the same thing, ESPECIALLY PATTERNED STUFF! she said that “its not my fault we have similar stuff!” i said its not SIMILAR, its MINE! she stormed off saying she was going to call her mom and that was that convo.

i told lex about it and she didnt even seem to understand.... until it happened to her! (i told her she probably was stealing from her she would just have to see for herself) and she gave her the same line! “i bought those with my mom in tennesee”.... theyre from the dollar store...

With my mom and the help of a friend from the police dept, we wrote a letter stating that we needed to have a sit down meeting and mothers were welcome to come. i asked that she text me about when she would like to sit ad talk and let me know because i was going to my parents home for a week before we left on the cruise, she didn’t text me..

i come back and she acted lke nothing happened, we started having loads more problems about stuff dissapearing, i started locking my room a few days after i discovered thsi, i wanted to see if she would put m stuff back in my room, she didn;t, but a few weeks later she DID, in my LOCKED ROOM! she returned the two original things that were missing and two others i didn’t know were missing and hid them under my bed to make it look like i lost them (little does she know i thoroughly searched my room and under my bed)

Lex and i went to go talk to the landlord to see what we could do about getting her OUT! We signed three separate leases.

so when we went to talk to the landlord she was IMMEDIATELY sympathetic and was goign to help us get her out, but turns out she says that legally she cant because lex and I could be sued for slander for talking to the landlord..

So my question is, are there any laws or loopholes that can help us evict our roommate???

How did she put stuff back in your room when you locked it?
