UK - Re speed limits and 'car derived van status'. Is a Peugeot Partner a car derived van?

I think it is car derived, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm trying to avoid speeding tickets....

It's just that I drive a van, and given a 'temporary' new Peogeot Partner yesterday, different speed limits apply to car derived vans than to the other types of vans. Am I able to drive this one as a car, or do I need to knock off 10MPH on dual carriageways and two way roads (where national speed limits apply)?

Hi, it's NOT car derived...it's just a van. The car version is actually van derived...but limits apply as a car as the load limits / expected loads are lower.

So 10mph under for dual carriageways and national speed limit roads.

So:

30 in town SAME
50 on NSL (eg. country roads)
60 on dual carriageways
still 70 on motorways

The Partner has a gross vehicle weight of 2070kgs so the lower speed limits apply.

Yes, that's a van and comes under the 50-60-70 rules.
