Underwood TouchMaster 5 Ribbon Problem - Typewriter?

My in-laws gave me an Underwood TouchMaster 5 not too long ago, but the ribbon was dried out. I ordered new ribbons and installed them, but I'm having a problem. The ribbon is advancing just fine, but the other side is not winding the ribbon around it. I'm relatively new to the workings of manual typewriters, but I can't find a manual or an illustration anywhere online to help with the TouchMaster line.
