Yes, I make that assumption.But then, I look at the numbers, like you do. Prosecutors overwhelmingly get it right. Juries overwhelmingly convict the right person - like 99.8 % of the time.Yes, occasionally - very occasionally - the wrong person is put to death. That's a shame, but the flip side is if you DON"T execute someone who deserves it, he exists and kills/rapes/shanks others. So I'm willing to take that risk.Why so many tears for the poor schmuck who is executed wrongly? 400 people a day die in auto accidents.
