Upper Michigan, Keweenaw Peninsula

There are many great places to stay in Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan. There are many great places to visit in Keweenaw Peninsula Michigan. Some beautiful places to visit are the Upper Hungarian Falls, the Sand Point Lighthouse, the Keweenaw Bay, and Lake Linden & Torch Lake Railroad. Good places to hike are the Hill In Copper Harbor, Lake Superior Shoreline, the Unnamed Falls on Hungarian Creek, and the Trestle Over Falls River. It makes a lot of sense to Spend a day on Isle Royale because there is hiking, boat tours, many attractions to visit, and many lake shores to visit. Keweenaw Peninsula Welcome to the Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan's "Northern-Most" experience. Around here, north isn't just a direction, it's a destination, too. Our woods and waters overflow with recreational opportunities and our towns provide shopping, dining, and plenty of other activities that celebrate the culture and history of the Keweenaw area. We provide a clean, healthy environment with a side of small town flair.Located on the northwestern end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the Keweenaw Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by Lake Superior, the largest fresh-water lake in the world. The Keweenaw is easily reached on your own by roadway or waterway, and it is served by major bus and air carriers. Please browse these pages to learn of our unique blend of history, recreation and natural resources, all provided in a friendly, small-town atmosphere. The Keweenaw Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is working on this and other projects to make the Keweenaw Peninsula an outstanding place to visit, work and live, and we can assist with any questions or requests that you may have.
