What are my chances of becoming a NY state trooper?

When i was 13 i was detained for breaking and entering. I was brought down to the station for questioning. Luckily my father knew the owner of the apartment so he didn't press any charges so i was never fingerprinted or brought upon a judge. About a few months ago i went down to the station to get a background check and i don't know if its an arrest or what record but its sealed. I don't think it can be a criminal record because i was never convicted of anything.

Now I'm 18 and thinking of a career in law enforcement. My plan is to get an associates degree in Criminal Justice at a community college, after join the military (Air Force or Army) for 4 years, then use my GI bill to get my bachelors or masters and then apply for the NY state trooper. My question is with all of that info what do you think my chances will be?
