First you can move out of the duplex and find a more sanitary place then if the land lord preses charges for leaving without notice you can counter sue but you can't win you can't do anything now in the event that they do press charges agenst you wich they can but they won't win eather so you just need to move outI have requested that my landlord resolve a mouse issue with the apartment in which I currently reside. It is a duplex. He gave us some poison to put out, but it has not solved the problem. I originally requested that he contact professional pest control, but he wanted to use a DIY solution instead. The mouse issue has not been resolved and I would like to know what proper procedures I can follow to make sure I am afforded a safe and healthy dwelling. Having mice are not what I would consider safe or healthy. What if my landlord refuses professional services to remedy this issue?
