What are the pro's and con's of being a Lawyer?

more specifically a Lawyer that has the public interest (non-business attorney)

The attorney employment market is flooded, and every year another new batch of grads are pumped out by the law schools. They are having trouble finding jobs, law firms are downsizing and newly minted attorneys end up with $150,000 in debt and living on mom's sofa...not nearly as glamorous as the TV and movies make it out.
