Constitutional lawyers deal with cases that involved constitutional issues. That can be state and federal constitutions. It could, potentially, involve constitutions of other countries. But that usually is a separate specialty called international law.

If you want a good feel for it as a possible career, consider volunteering for your local ACLU chapter. That's all they do is protect people's constitutional rights, regardless of political or religious affiliation. (in contrast to what some people insist.)

The US Constitution is a defining and limiting docuement. Why would you have to hire a lawyer to fuss over its interpretation. Constitutional lawyers don't do JACK, except BS.

The ACLU has investors that determine which publicity cases are more profitable, and THEY only focus on the 14th amendment, which deals with the fictional creation known as the "person."
