What can i do about a male dog that wont stay off my property when females are in heat? day and night..24/7?

I have called the neighborhs 5 times or so.... and threatened to call animal control. And yet, he was here again all last night keeping me awake.

so... what now? Does anyone know what the laws are with this type of thing? I really like dogs and dont want this one to go to pound.

What can i legally do? I'm in oregon. thanks for your time!

Call animal control. They will give the owners a ticket and your neighbor will hopefully learn a lesson and stop their dog/s from getting out in the future.

You should spay your dog. I understand the desire to breed, but the fact is that there are thousands and thousands of dogs being killed in animal shelters every day because there are too many of them out there in need of homes. There is no reason to breed your animals when there's already too many.

Call your local authorities and ask them what the leash laws are, if he should be gated or leashed you can have the pind take him away. Hope this helps
