I just sold one(original) for $four at my Garage Sale. The guy who bought it looked like a burned out Dead Head - Said he'd give me $10 for it - but he looked like a good guy - so I gave it to him for $four.

What Do You Think Is The Most Representative Rock 'n Roll Poster Of The 60's?

Postby Are » Wed Feb 05, 2014 4:23 pm

okay, I'm still looking for a specific concert [that links it to a specific concert]... ...but the article says, since it wasn't copyrighted [by R. Crumb] it was "lifted" numerous times for concert posters.  It was NOT based on a Grateful Dead song, but I think the song may have been based on IT!   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keep_on_Truckin%27_(comic)   still looking for the "rock" poster, but here's a site where you can still order a sticker!   http://www.stickergiant.com/keep-on-truckin_ss2873.html   Interesting blog article:   http://oldbluebus.blogspot.com/2007/11/keep-on-truckin.html   ...and I think this is the song to which they refer...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hg5m5LCIyuk Sources: "dasit, dasol" OccupyPhatness 55 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. Are you interested in concert posters, or individual band posters? If you're including concert posters, I'd say the Woodstock poster, circa 1969 - http://www.solarnavigator.net/music/music_images/Woodstock_music_festival_poster.jpgand Monterey Pop Festival, circa 1967http://www.dead.net/sites/deadbeta.rhino.com/files/images/19670618_0185.jpg
