What does an environmental lawyer do?

I'm thinking of becoming one when I get older and I'm out of college...What do you do? Can you choose what category you want to work in? (Ex: Marine, pollution, pesticides..sorry, not an expert)
Yeah...I've been thinking about it, since I really want to help out our world :P
