What Does It Take To Be A Good Medical Assistant?

Postby Shelby » Sat Feb 08, 2014 11:47 am

acting as a nurse and doing pretty much the same job as a nurse there are very good opportunities for medical asistants in a doctors office setting, not much elsewhere though. The salary is hard to say ....for example in the Northeast a worker at Burger kIng makes 10 bux an hr , but in the south it pays minimum wage for the same job. However a medical assistant job will pay $5-$8 more than the lowest wages inthe state in which u reside. However it depends on how much education u will recieve in this program.it takes NOT passing out at the site of blood for one thing lol...u will be drawing blood for lab tests in a doctors office....acting as a nurse and doing pretty much the same job as a nurse......notice I say ABOUT the same. and ACTING as a nurse..........Nurses will always be paid more than a MA. Good luck.
