Eg: The Drug War is a lost cause. It don't work.
Everyone seems to know it, but still won't say it.
An astounding new report has come out demonstrating, across the board, that the decriminalization of drugs DOES NOT increase usage.
And in at least one country, after 11 years of decriminalization, drug use has been cut in HALF.
So perhaps when law is replaced with grace, and truth,
then we'll beginning going on to the solution of the problem,
instead of trying, always failing, by doing what doesn't work.
Jesus criminalized: imputed sin to punish or forgive.
Christ decriminalized, by flushing the law as if dung.
Why are churches still criminalizing for the 'hell' of it,
instead of decriminalizing like the grace of Christ did?
- Christ did not accuse: John 5:45
- Christ did not condemn: John 3:17; 8:11
- Christ did not impute sin: 2Corinthians 5:19
- Christ abolished the law (the enmity) to be our peace.
He did not add to the problem, he identified law as the problem.
He graced and truthed, till the people willingly flushed their dung.
