What is better to have? Two bachelor degree's or a bachelor + masters degree?

Postby tripp » Sun Apr 08, 2012 6:48 pm

I want to give myself the best opportunity to find a job. Lets say, option 1: I get a bachelors degree in International Business and I obtain one in Accountancy or Law or Management (etc.), option 2: I obtain a bachelor degree in International Business and following to that I get my MBA (Master of Business Administration). What is better to have?

Theyre both great but like if you had 2 bachelor degrees it only means more job opportunities but only one is useful for each job i think but like if you had a bachelor in international business and than did masters if you get a job in that domain you will get paid higher than someone who only has bachelors

Having 2 bachelors just shows you can't make up your mind and aren't very focused.

Clearly the MBA - Use Thunderbird in Phoenix Arizona as a benchmark for comparison of international business graduate programs.

Most MBAs require you to have several years of work experience before you can apply to one.
International Business is not a strong major, more theoretical than practical. It is not an easy major to get a good job with unless you have foreign language skills.

With Accounting you have a very high chance of getting a good job.
So the combination of Accounting and IB is a good one, especially if you plan to work for a major company.
