What is "reasonable amount of time"?

Postby hillocke » Thu Jul 12, 2012 2:02 pm

My landlord is really getting on my nerves. He's been showing the rental property the last couple weeks which would be fine if he was following the law. I'm getting ready to file a complaint at this point. He's not giving me 24 hours notice (our law here) and his notice never includes when he put the notice there, and I work so it's not like I know the time it shows up. And now he is doing it in 4 hour time frames. So from 3-7pm every day. The law just says it can be a time frame but it must be a reasonable amount of time. Is this reasonable?

i would imagine it is. i'd insist on 24 hours notice. if he doesn't give it, don't leave the apt. just sit there and be a huge ****** to the people he brings in. it's within your rights, and a couple of times of you insulting his potential renters will guarantee he gives you notice in the future.

Yes, this is reasonable. Are you being horribly inconvenienced by this situation, or do you just want to be a complainer ?
