What is the refund policy in Consumer Protection Act Ontario?

I recently purchased a Mattress from a store in Ontario. They have a no refund policy on mattresses. I wake up with aches in my back and cramps in my shoulders. I can't return the mattress now.

If you have a consumer advice centre or trading standards where you live, you could try those. It might just be an unsuitable mattress for your needs. There is usually a label explaining the type of mattress it is. For example, soft, medium, firm.

The Consumer Protection Act does not deal with mattresses or purchases when you go into a store.

The Sale of Goods Act in Ontario basically says that when you purchase a mattress it must be fit for its intended use.
