What is your take on immigration laws?

I understand that this is our America and that immigrants from all over the world are coming and its upsetting many fellow Americans.
So I'm just curious what is your take on "immigration laws"?

I think that at a certain point they're fair but at another they are not , because the fact is America was build by immigrants and that this country is the melting pot , so in other words getting rid of the immigrants in america is also the same as getting rid of our culture and personality.
For example the Latinos have a beautiful culture and the immigrants bring it with them and share it , same thing with the Asians/Europeans. But of course some people just come here and cause trouble which fires part of the scandal.
I don't know these people do jobs that I as a white american wouldn't want to do.
But again there's pros and cons to the whole thing.
What is your take?

I think that if they cannot speak proper English they shouldn't EVER be able to come to the USA.
I also believe they should have something to offer,if they are going to come here and sling drugs,stay in your own country. If you have the I.Q of a genius and can speak proper English and take care of yourself,do the proper paper work and come on over.

The problem is we get people who come here and decide it is easier to not learn English and simply live off of the tax payer's money.

My parents brought me here, LEGALLY, as a toddler. It wasn't easy but that isn't even the main problem. As legal immigrants, they had to say they could support the family and wouldn't need or ask for assistance. People coming illegally are usually from just over the fence, so to speak. They come by the million, have babies like food is free and gain prominence and attention because there are just so many of them. Then they use that to get things we legal immigrants promised we would not get.

Think about it. It's like going into a bank with a whole bunch of friends and demanding a withdrawal even if you don't have an account there.
