What's more impressive to employers? Physics/Astronomy or Physics minor?

Postby dent81 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 11:31 am

I am an applied math major and am think seriously of completing a physics minor or a physics/astronomy minor. As someone who has already taken all the main physics classes for the minor since it was already part of my degree, I have three courses left to take. Now, for the Physics minor I can take whatever I want. For the physics/astronomy minor I have to take just 3 astrophysics courses.

I am thinking about going into patent law, but I am also thinking of applying to jobs at like the Air Force Research Laboratory.
