I am lucky in the fact that I have never had to take very much medication. But when I have using a generic hasn't been a problem . But one does have to be careful when using a generic .

What's Your Experience With Prescription Generic Drugs?

Excellent link, has great information.   Sweet H   Are Generic Medicines Just Like Low-Universal? - Related Information from Yahoo! - associatedcontent.com....   It occurs to all of US. You-drop off your prescription in the small table within the back of the shop and also the pharmacist requires you without actually searching for, "Universal ok?" Often, you will reply yes but perhaps  onetime you request, "Are generics truly the just like the brand medications?" The pharmacist may welcome the issue by having an overwhelming yes and clarify the only distinction between your two is the fact that the brand medicine will definitely cost you more....is that this truly the situation? The FDA says yes. The pharmacist says yes. Several doctors and individuals say no. ...According to Wikipedia, the Food requires producers to produce common medicines that display "bioequivalence" towards the unique brand medicine, but that doesn't suggest the medicines are the identical. Chemical variations DO occur between brand medicines and also the generics the drugstore forces at you....Many medicines which are Extended-Release(XR), Managed Discharge(CR) or Delayed-Release(DOCTOR) CAn't be copied in an universal structure that needs an individual to consider the tablet twice each day. Aspect influences might be more extreme, and also the medicine might not efficiently do-itis meant work as-designed within the XR, CR, or DOCTOR structure. Individuals and physicians concur that for all medicines, no replacement is going to do......While a medication might be "assured" from the Food to be bioequivalent towards the medication your prescribed you with, you're not guaranteed the identical quality of substances are incorporated as within the low-common medicine. You're also being supplied with a duplicate of the medicine, and so particular components or chemical similarities could be absent or changed enough to trigger the medication not to are effectively.

What's Your Experience With Prescription Generic Drugs?

I believe this will depend to the medication.  Like Equus, I Have never been on medicine aside from my only surgery.  I'd to consider pain tablets before the surgery as well as for a while after and also the universal worked great for me personally.   I really don't consider every other medicines however.  I do consider supplements but that is it and I dislike getting tablets therefore I wish I not have to consider anything for health factors, since I am the planetis toughest when it involves recalling to consider my medicine when I do require it. I actually do need to consider anything periodically for nose and attempted the universal but discovered that it did not are well whilst the unique medication, and so I decided to pay for a bit more for that one which worked best. I accept Gypsey...check always together with your pharmacist...they provide a success of information.
