What Should Be Done To Attorneys That Have No Ethics? They Take Cases Knowing Insurance Companies Will Settle.

Postby Adejola » Wed Jan 15, 2014 4:51 pm

I was involved in an accident that clearly was my fault in Hesperia. The finish result was that a young man's auto lost it really is bumper with virtually no effect with my vehicle. There was no damage to my automobile what so ever! He had no license or insurance and yet found an attorney to file a claim against my insurance business claiming bodily injury??? My wife and I felt no impact what so ever throughout the collision.

It doesn't matter what you felt. Maybe you have a big heavy vehicle? Perhaps he wasn't wearing a seat-belt? The fact that your vehicle had no damage and his had a fair amount suggests he had more of a jolt than you did.I've been in mild fender-benders where several necks got wrenched badly. There was plenty of pain and suffering, even though you could not see and blood spurting. Some people end up with life-long pain and bone-spurs from just a mild jostling. I'm sure if the situation were turned around, you'd want some compensation for the car damage and for pain and suffering and any time off work.Lawyers and insurance companies handle thousands of these cases every year- it's pretty hard to get much past them. If they guy went out dancing and bowling and bungee-jumping the next day they probably have pictures of that to show the jury.   Ancient_Hacker 30 months ago

Same thing happened to me. I never knew the settlement since they sent it to my old address and it was not sent to me. Just as well. I think they backed into me. She had another accident pending when they settled our case. No damage to my vehicle and many thousands of dollars for "therapy."   Gary4books 30 months ago

they do it because it makes them money. the only remedy is for the law to get involved; and make it painful for them to take a bogus case. unfortunately; a lot of bodily injury cases that are legitimate are deemed bogus and a lot of bogus cases are deemed legitimate.   TheLightWorks 30 months ago
