For the past three years the Republicans have continues to say this is not a good time to start or expand a business or hire new employees. They claim this is because the Obama Administrations policies that hurt small business.
I have heard this over and over but I have never heard what the problems are?
I know during the Bush administration the Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, Small Business Administration and the Chamber of Commerce were pleading with Bush to enforce numerous laws designed to enhance small business; Bush ignored them. These laws and regulations were intended to ensure small business had an equal standing with big business and they provided funding for small Business development; millions of dollars earmarked for small business was being given to big business though.
Are these the same problems; if so what are they and what needs to be done to fix them? Just saying the problems are there apparently has not helped! If elected representatives are aware of these problems why have they not tried fixing them rather than just complain about them?
