What Type Of Career Should I Be In?

What Type Of Career Should I Be In?

Postby zedekiah » Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:00 pm

A extended time ago, I identified a web site that asked around 40 inquiries and then would tell you what sort of profession you would be best suited for. Can you discover this again for me or one thing equivalent? I'm searching for a cost-free web site by the way.

What Type Of Career Should I Be In?

Tickle As in Tickle your brain has tons of free tests for career(and lots of other fun interseting stuff!) and once you sign up they'll send free tests to your email once a month or more.   I haven't used live career but thought you might like to try it out.  Nor have I used career choice, but I have taken the same Jung test on Tickle for free(about a month or so agao) and found it quite interesting!   Last but not least...perfect for all women...a quiz from iVillage regarding what career type suits your personality.   Hope ths helps you determine what path to take! Sources: Askville and you shall receive.   Spatzie~Lover's Recommendations Follow Your True Colors to the Work You Love Amazon List Price: $19.95 Used from: $8.22 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5(based on 8 reviews) The reviewers sure had good stuff to say about this personality type career book! It's worth checking your library for it. Spatzie~Lover 81 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment. Please verify your account to give a compliment. Please sign in to send a message. What Type Of Career Should I Be In?

Postby Torry » Sat Feb 08, 2014 5:10 am

It is obvious! You should be a princess!  Can there be any doubt? ;-) Well, there are lots of those kinds of surveys. I can't tell which specific one you mean, but you can find a list of them at www.jobhuntersbible.com, both free and not free. The site is put together by Richard Bolles, career and life-planning guru and author of "What Color Is Your Parachute?", the best single book of its kind. He includes both online personality tests and online career tests. He also is very careful to point out that tests of any kind can only tell you so much. For example, a personality test might tell you your temperment and work style, but it doesn't tell you what your favorite subjects are, or what are your favorite skills. Career tests might be fine, but often they don't include very many job titles or fields. So the most complete career assessment that doesn't cost a lot of money is found in Bolle's own book, "What Color Is Your Parachute?" It is revised every year, and it is an absolute treasure. I have bought seven or eight copies over the years, and I have recommended it to hundreds of people. It can be completed in a weekend. Good luck!   karlc's Recommendations What Color Is Your Parachute? 2007: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers(What Color Is Your Parachute) Amazon List Price: $17.95 Used from: $10.72 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5(based on 42 reviews) karlc 81 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
