What would be the reasonable answer for who would receive the personal injury protection amount in Tx?

Would it be the person who pays the monthly premiums or the peoples that were injured? My parents pay for the insurance monthly premiums but I believe I deserve to receive the amount if I was the victim that was involved in the accident but then again they are my parents... My parents are telling me to give them the amount and It is understandable because they are my parents but deep down I feel like I deserve the amount. I am torn. Please give me your opinion and advice. Thank you.
