Mom and Grandpa (me), who reside in Illinois, are likely to have our 3-year old daughter who lives in Florida, come and stick with us for several days.  Your boy, the daddy, really wants to know which state he must put on the Ability of Attorney that Grandmother and I'll use within case of a collision where we've to agree emergency treatment for our granddaughter.  Could anybody guide us?  Thanks ahead of time!

Illinois. Actually, if they're getting the kid for you, it'd be better to have them make it out in Arizona and have an Arizona notary. Like that you do not acquire some dipwad in a health care provider's office stating "Oh this is notarized in California, it's no-good here." Whiff of prevention, you understand.
