Why didn't Samuel L. Jackason use his trademark line in the Avengers?

Not once did Nick Fury say the magical F-Word or Mother*****. Why?

It wouldn't fit the character and The Avengers would be rated Pg-13. If they put the F-word more then once it would be rated R, taking away from the audience that actually enjoys those type of movies.
