I was issued a court date for a traffic violation, and i went to the courthouse on the date issued, i was on time, punctual, and i asked a court worker where to go, so i gave here my info, and showed here my ticket, and she told me there was no record for me, i know the cop who pulled me over helped me out, he told me discretely to just go, i think he let me go with a warning, because he gave me a ticket with no amount on it, i only had to go to court. My question is, why do i have a warrant for arrest for this matter, when i was told by the court worker there was nothing for me on that date, she even gave me a form stating i was there, sealed and stamped by the Burbank Courthouse. The warrant was ordered on the same i went to court. It says on the warrant notice, "IF YOU ALREADY APPEARED ON THE FOLLOWING CASE, PLEASE DISREGARD THIS NOTICE", should i just ignore this letter, is it a mistake on behalf of the court?? I am worried, it says 26,000 dollars bail, WTF???
