Why Is The Underground Water In Florida So Full Of Sulphur?

Whenever sprinklers go on around here(fed by wells) the stench is unbearable. What makes Florida's groundwater so full of sulphur?

Another observation was we noticed the strong sulphur smell typical of the mangroves and rotting material. Not a nice smell at all!
