every body got some secrets in their life so do i..,I had affair with 3-4 girls before marriage and had serious with one of them..eventually landed a livin relation ship.she got pregnent and i made her abortion.I was age of 23 that time.Mistakes happen.I could not marry either of them and move ahead with my studies and carrer.

5 years hence,i gor married with the girl of my parents choice, of-course I choose her too...we lived happily for 6 months and somehow my wife got to know abt all my secrets,she hacked into my emailspull down all the piks and saw the abortion report as well.i am all exposed infront of her and my both family.She still lives with me but we are having tough time,she is abt to leave me..

Now,she is blackmailing me with all those past evidence and expecting a huge separation money else she will goto court and ruin my life with those evidence.

My question is - is it possible that law punish me hard because of what all i did in my past,even though i have not done anything wrong after marriage ??

you should get a lawyer. I don't think she can really get a settlement for things that you did before marriage, but I do not know what the laws are for these situations and Yahoo! is not really the place for legal advice.

I guess it depends on where you live. If you live in a Western country then no, you won't be punished for what you did. You did things that most Western people do. If you live in a Theocratic regime then you might be in more trouble although your wife won't have a leg to stand on since women have little to no rights under those systems.

Either way, I think legally you're Ok.

how would what you di BEFORE marriage have any impact on your separation settlement? she is trying to get you to agree to more to shut her up...sneeky btch.

If you live in a western country and the girl who had the abortion was willing then you have nothing to worry about at all. tell your parents yourself it is important to call her bluff....be honest and everything will be fine.
