Will America have strict guns laws now?

So do you think the Americans have strict guns laws or not after this shooting? Also, the right "shell not be taken away" as it says something about it in the second amendment. Also, do most Americans rather have guns or not as they most likely to say "the criminals would have them as they do not care."

After a shooting, anti-gun activists try very hard to take the guns away from the people that didn't do it. In my opinion, it would have helped immensely if someone in that theater had been armed. It would have saved lives. Criminals don't care what gun legislation is put through. In fact, criminals are hoping that they DO ban guns. Then all the good law abiding citizens give up their guns and you just made their job a whole lot easier.

Guns empower the people. That is why the second amendment is there.

No, it's just a knee jerk reaction to do "something" even if it's wrong. People always calm down once they realize disarming law abiding citizens won't accomplish their goals.
