Will legal aid pay for my divorce in sc?

I've been married for 3 yrs & im fed up with the constant circle of crap. i pay all the bills & am the one that's bought everything in my household. He didn't buy nothing & he has nothing. Im ready to focus on me. I need a vacation from men so I can do something by myself. Help me!

if you bought everything then why not use your own money to pay for your own divorce. why should taxpayers be responsible. the govt doesn't have the resources i knew a girl who ask for legal aide help and they denied her.divorces don't cost that much if you do your own.

idk the law there
but legal aid only pays if it goes to court, means it's not uncontested divorce
but if it's only filing for divorce, you have to pay it yourself
legal aid isn't free. they put a lien against your equity. and not all fees are covered.

You didn't find this out before you married the guy?

So....your bad judgment is now the problem of the SC taxpayers.
