Would You Want Pfizer to Experiment On Your Child???

I agree Ms Irish....that we need a FULL generation of use BEFORE being approved AND that just ain't gonna happen!!! I cannot imagine any parent saying...here please take my child & send them back dead or worse. NO Mother I know would EVER say that!!! I fear even MORE that the drug companies will just stop asking & demand we take their trials!!! If you pay attention, they choose the poor to do their tests on. There are a LOT of poor people in this world & I think they should join together & JUST SAY NOOOO!!!

I certainly would boycott Pfizer and would never buy meds from them. This is mass murder. I am so so sad as to the plight of these thrid world children. I have heard a long time ago that third world countries are made as guinea pigs to test the efficiency of medications. I guess leaders from the third world countries are being paid to let this happen.

You know that the leaders are being paid HUGE sums of money by Pfizer to have the number of children they needed just handed over to them. The results of the experimentation would be horrible in itself;however, they knew what the outcome would be from previous tests done on mice. That is what I feel makes this plain & simple murder!!!

That is monstrous! They knew there would likely be deaths and side effects because of the animal experiments they did and they were guilty just as if they murdered them in cold blood. I hope they are found guilty and people get life sentences. I can't imagine what type of person would do something like this, they aren't even human.

I would love to be seated on that jury!!! The children that died right away were the lucky ones. The survivors that were left blind, deaf, paralyzed, or brain damaged are the ones my heart goes out to. From what I've read about that area, it is already difficult to maintain a decent quality of life as it is. With the imposed disabilities, those children will die a slow & quite painful death taking years to accomplish while they suffer!!! My biggest fear is that with the high priced lawyers Pfizer has on staff, this will all be swept under the carpet!!!!

Wow! I didn't realize this kind of experimentation still went on in the world. I know it went on in the early 1900s and before.. but I had no idea that that kind of thing still happened. It wouldn't happen here in the US, I'm sure of that.

I believe it is happening here in the US...just not at the magnitude that it happened to those poor children!!! We have numerous clinics that are strictly for trial testings. If you have a disease or illness they have a drug to cover, they offer free drugs & to pay you for your time & expense in joining in on their trials. Once you sign up, you may get the "real" drug that you need or you may receive a "placebo". How do we know what is in the "real" drug as it is usually a blind test. Much like with these children, the poor flock to these clinics in hopes of getting the much needed treatment plus, a little income so they have food for their children; & thereby putting their complete faith in the drug companies as they have no other alternative!!!

I don't think that what was done to these children could be considered to be genocide as I thought that genocide was getting rid of a massive amount of people because of some undesireable characteristic that they have in their genome. However, I think that using these children as lab rats is wrong and their parents should have been given informed ability to decide whether or not they wanted their children to be treated with these experiemental drugs. That said, there would be no circumstances that I could think of where I would allow my children to be used as lab rats.
