Would You Want Pfizer to Experiment On Your Child???

I don't know why I wasn't shocked to read that Pfizer has been experimenting on children to learn the effects of their drugs even though lab experiments showed a negative outcome!!! This article is about 200 children in Nigeria being quietly used in place of lab rats even though safe proven drugs were available. Of the 200 children, many died & the survivors were left blind, deaf,, paralyzed, or brain damaged. Even though the guardians of these children would have probably said yes in order to save their child from the pending disease, Pfizer didn't give them the opportunity to make an informed decision!!! Pfizer in effect committed genocide on these children. It makes me wonder, is there any reason to think that Pfizer would be any more careful in the care of our own children??? We hear outcries when leaders of Third World Countries allow genocide to take place. After reading this article, do you feel Pfizer has a leg to stand on or should they be prosecuted for committing genocide on members of the human race???

Please stop exaggerating and trying to make this worse than it was by throwing around the word "genocide" when it is completely and totally incorrect. Learn the meaning of a word before you misuse it like this. Was what Pfizer did "genocide" - absolutely not. Were Pfizers actions immoral and probably illegal - definately. Will the children or their families see any of the "fund" Pfizer is setting up for their benefit - doubtful. Other funds set up by other organizations in Nigeria are swiftly stripped of funds by corrupt politicians. Experimentation on people has been ongoing for centuries by different companies with government approval, even in places like the US and the UK. Third world countries are even fewer protections and are now easy to access and take advantage of. That is why we need more whistleblowers and watchdogs to bring these incidents to light.

Genocide is the systematic and widespread extermination or attempted extermination of an entire national, racial, religious, or ethnic group. In my humble opinion, genocide is MURDER smoothed over with a fancy name & MURDER was what was done to those poor children!!!. Experimentation on people has been ongoing for centuries by different companies with government approval, even in places like the US and the UK. Just because it has been done for centuries & the government approved, does that make it any more acceptable??? I think NOT!!! Thinking like that is what ALLOWS such a horrid crime to continue. The only way to STOP it is to bring it to light & have people understand what is actually being done. When my turn comes to be in line for the experiment, I promise you that I will offer you the spot in front of me so you can continue the centuries-long experimentation. Hopefully you will blow the whistle before it's my turn!!!!

I've been BLESSED in that I was never drawn into the addiction of smoking!!! I did lose several friends due to the use of Chantix in their effort to rehabilitate themselves.

I have no respect for any of the large drug manufacturers, not one of them. They're in it for the money, nothing more. They have no human feelings for those taking their drugs or those they experiment on. I'm convinced that the FDA gets bribes from them all the time, too, because so many very harmful drugs have been put on the market with the approval of the FDA. I guess they figure that the lawsuits that ensue cost them less money than the profits made by the drugs. I was in on a massive class-action lawsuit against GlaxoSmithKline because of them failing to inform not only the public but also the medical community about a specific drug being addictive. I received a settlement of almost 6 figures and I know there were a few individual suits where GSK shelled out millions each. There were over 10,000 people involved in the class action suit. Still, that particular drug is still on the market. Who knows what other drugs they're making where they've hidden the serious side effects from everyone? This story about the children is despicable, less than human. Drug manufacturers are tyrants who have us by the ballz and they know it. If I could get off the meds I need, I would in a flash! I've managed to get off of 4 of them to date and hope to be off 2 more within the next couple of months. Maybe, one day, I'll be drug-free and never have to depend on these monsters (the drug manufacturers) any more.

I've been fortunate most of my life & have not had to take many drugs. Reading what was done to those children made me SICK!!! The ones who died were the lucky ones!!! Those that were left disabled will die a slow torturous death. NO ONE should have to endure such!!!! I hope & pray that you will be off ALL drugs in the very near future!!!

Well sorry to say this does not suprise me in the least LadyM..yes, I think they do not have a leg to stand on, but will anything be done to the barbarians? Those poor kids. This is an outrage..I know that in some countries children are treated less than human but to deliberately and knowingly poison them to death is a crime.

They had already done the research on mice & KNEW the outcome. Then they chose the poor children to prove what they already knew. What a TOTAL disregard for life!!! I worry what will happen when they decide they want to use OUR children for their trials. They already have the government trained to believe them. They almost have us trained to just follow their lead. Look at all the Trial Clinics that have opened in the last 10 years or so!!!

The big greedy drug companies scare the crap out of me. Every year you hear of another drug, we have been using for 10 yrs or more, that is now highly dangerous. They want that crap on the market ASAP and care not for our well being as we are learning more and more. I think they ought not be able to release a new drug until it's been tested for at least ONE generation......but like that's gonna happen.........

I agree Ms Irish....that we need a FULL generation of use BEFORE being approved AND that just ain't gonna happen!!! I cannot imagine any parent saying...here please take my child & send them back dead or worse. NO Mother I know would EVER say that!!! I fear even MORE that the drug companies will just stop asking & demand we take their trials!!! If you pay attention, they choose the poor to do their tests on. There are a LOT of poor people in this world & I think they should join together & JUST SAY NOOOO!!!
