30 days eviction notice from my Dad, is this worth appealing?

Postby amdt57 » Fri Jul 27, 2012 11:02 am

I got evicted for personal injury last night from my dad I have 30 days. (oregon) I slammed the door after being kept up by loud talking. Then I tried to hold the door shut from my dad and he pushed it open. I pushed him back and closed the door, trying to distance myself from him. Then he shouts "You want to **** with me ************?" and charges in at me and lunges towards me. I evaded using his momentum and grabbed him under his right thigh lifting his leg I moved him out of my room and put my leg behind his left leg to trip him to the ground.

I felt I was in great danger when he came in my room after I shut the door. Is this something worth appealing? I have red marks, scratches and a bruise from him. I also took photos and this was at 12 am less than 24 hours ago.

What if you win the appeal? Time to move out. Time and distance are the first steps in healing your relationship with your dad.

Best of luck to you and him. I hope you can patch it up.

How old are you?

If you are a grown up, why would you want to live there anyway? Move.

Probably not worth appealing; it appears to be done in correct form.

But why would you want to continue living there anyway, if this sort of thing could happen again? You should look at this as a wake-up call and get to a more stable living situation.

This is the conflict of abusing language which can be solved by paying some fine.
